Experience The Destinations
Experiencing the destinations firsthand is important to understand what they have to offer. Therefore, selected buyers have the opportunity to join a pre-tour in the Iceland before the Vestnorden event, while the Faroe Islands and Greenland are offering this year’s post-tours.
Please select in the registration system which pre-tour and / or post-tour you would like to be considered for.

Due to limited capacity, only a few buyers can join a pre- or post-tour.
Therefore, registering for a tour is merely an application to participate and does not guarantee participation. The host country subsequently selects the participants for their tour. The pre- and post-tours are subject to additional fees. Please check the description and prices of each individual tour.
We do our best to process all applications as quickly as possible, but please be aware that it may take some time before you are informed whether you are one of the selected participants.
Payment for the tour is due upon registration but will be refunded if you do not secure a spot on the tour. At cancellation of a pre- or post-tour participation after 1 July 2025, the participation fee is not refunded.
Cancellation can only be done by email to vestnorden2025@sena.is.
All Vestnorden participants will have the opportunity to break free from appointment mode on Wednesday 1 October, and discover various hidden gems around Akureyri and nearby areas that afternoon. These adventures are free experiences offered by local tourist companies and the Visit North Office to give you a thorough understanding of the versatility that the North of Iceland has to offer as a destination.
We will open registration for the excursions in the beginning of September. All participants will receive an email notification when you can request the adventure you would like to participate in.
