Registration Information

Welcome to Nuuk

Important information for Buyers regarding registration and preparation.

Registration fees for Buyers

Early bird fee DKK 6.500

(approx. EUR 880) – per company, per person

Late fee:  DKK 7.000

(approx. EUR 947) – per company, per person

Payment is settled in DKK – Danish Krone. The price listed in Euros is only indicative and is based on the exchange rate per 24.03.26. View currency converter.

Included in the Buyers fee:

  • Flights to/from Nuuk via Copenhagen or Keflavík
  • Accommodation for 3 nights in Nuuk (September 21–24)
  • Transfer between Nuuk Airport and hotel
  • Participation in Vestnorden and B2B meetings
  • Participation in country presentations
  • Get-together event
  • Lunch, coffee, and refreshments during Vestnorden (2 days)
  • Farewell dinner
  • Local transport to/from event venues (when required)

Who can register as a Buyer?

Buyers include tour operators and travel agencies. The Buyers participate at a reduced price compared to the actual cost. The price difference is subsidised by the Suppliers.

It is mandatory for Buyers to fill a minimum of 80% appointments and therefore the appointment lists cannot be blocked.

Registration terms

The early bird registration deadline is Monday, June 1, 2026 (midnight).

 

From June 2, 2026, the registration fee increases.

Registration closes Monday, July 20, 2026 (midnight).

 

Please note: Vestnorden 2026 has limited capacity and may sell out before the deadline. Registrations are handled on a first-come, first-served basis.

The appointment system opens approximately 3–4 weeks before the event.

Payment must be completed upon registration via secure online payment (credit card).

Accepted cards: VISA and MasterCard.
Any transaction fees are the responsibility of the payer.

Free cancellation until August 4, 2026.

Cancellations after this date are non-refundable.
All cancellations must be submitted via email to: vestnorden@vestnorden.com.

Name changes are allowed until August 31, 2026.

 

A name change fee will apply.

Who can register as an OTA?
Online travel agency (OTA) is a web-based marketplace aimed at consumers to research and book travel products and services, including hotels, flights, cars, tours, cruises, activities and more, directly with travel suppliers.

Wholesaler
A wholesaler is a company that sources, buys or stores products and services from multiple suppliers and sells them to other businesses such as retailers, merchants or other wholesalers.

Please note: OTAs and wholesalers cannot sign up for pre- and post-tours.

Flight Information and Airport Transport

Flights to and from Nuuk are included in the registration fee for both Buyers and OTA’s. Please note that only routes via Copenhagen or Keflavík are covered.

Flights are operated by Air Greenland or Icelandair.
Once you have completed your registration and payment, your flight booking will be processed.

You will receive a booking confirmation once your flight has been arranged.

Flight tickets will be issued around August 6, 2026, after which the final ticket confirmation will be sent to you.

Tickets will be issued no later than August 6, 2026. Registrations after this date may incur additional fees.

Ticket changes are subject to airline rules and fare differences.

Complimentary airport transfer from Nuuk Airport to your hotel in Nuuk is included in the buyer fee. Please indicate during registration if you require transfer. The transfer is by invitation of Greenland Excursions.

Accommodation

Accommodation Information

Three night’s accommodation is included in the Buyers fee. Buyers will be accommodated in one of the following hotels. It will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. You select your desired hotel during the registration process.

Hotel Hans Egede

Aqqusinersuaq, 3900 Nuuk

Hotel Hans Egede is a 4-star hotel located in the heart of Nuuk’s city centre. Since opening in 1987, the hotel has welcomed both business and leisure travellers with modern rooms, restaurants and conference facilities.

The hotel offers several different room types, whether you need a room for yourself or several people. Guests can dine at the fine dining restaurant Sarfalik or the steakhouse A Hereford Beefstouw, and enjoy drinks at the Skyline Bar.

Its central location makes it an ideal base for exploring Nuuk’s shops, cultural attractions and harbour area.

HHE Express

Aqqusinersuaq 14B, 3900 Nuuk

HHE Express is a modern low-cost hotel located in the middle of the Greenlandic capital Nuuk.

The hotel was built with a focus on functionality and design, and the comfortable rooms are furnished with flat-screen TVs and free wireless internet. The hotel is centrally located in Nuuk, and you can find local restaurants nearby.

HHE Express offers cheap accommodation in well-furnished, comfortable and modern hotel rooms.

Hotel Nordbo

With a total of 64 hotel apartments, of which 18 are newly built, Restaurant Tunit and a new conference centre, Hotel Nordbo is the perfect setting for a stay in Nuuk for both the tourist and the professional traveller. Here you will meet Greenlandic hospitality and homely comfort in super modern surroundings.

Hotel Nordbo by Vandsøvej is located close to the city and yet away from the noise and crowds of the big city.

The buildings are high up with a view over Nuuk and the area invites you to hike – for example around the water lake or down to the old town and colonial harbor.

Hotel Aurora

Paassaasivik 8, 3900 Nuuk

Hotel Aurora is a newly build (opened 2021) family run boutique hotel situated in the authentic part of old industrial Nuuk. The hotel is close to downtown, shopping and eating.

The 32 rooms share a large eating and lounge area where the complimentary breakfast is served. The hotel also serves simple options for lunch and dinner.

Hotel Aurora Apartments – For those who want a living room and separate bedroom or a strong economic alternative for families and large groups, Hotel Aurora Apartments offers apartments localed in the middle of Nuuk with several restaurants within walking distance.

Hotel SØMA Nuuk is a welcoming and modern hotel situated directly on the bustling harbor of Greenland’s capital.

Guests can enjoy a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with a variety of room options tailored to different needs—ranging from practical budget rooms to superior rooms offering stunning views of the harbor and surrounding mountains.

Its prime waterfront location makes it an ideal base for exploring Nuuk. The city center, local shops, and cultural landmarks like the Nuuk Art Museum are all within easy walking distance. Additionally, the hotel staff is dedicated to helping guests arrange local adventures, from whale watching to boat tours into the deep fjords.

Frequently Asked Questions

We have compiled the answers to the most commonly asked questions regarding your trip to Iceland for Vestnorden.

Yes, it is possible to arrive earlier or extend your stay. We cover flights between Copenhagen and Nuuk within the official Vestnorden dates. If you choose to travel on different dates, any additional costs related to the change must be covered by you. Accommodation outside the official event dates is also at your own expense.

Yes, you need to arrange the extra accommodation yourself. There is only a three-night accommodation included in the Buyers fee.

Standard travel departs on 21 September from either Copenhagen or Iceland to Nuuk and returns on 24 September from Nuuk to Copenhagen or Iceland.
If different travel dates are required, any additional costs, including extra accommodation, must be covered by the participant.

If you are travelling from a destination without a direct connection to these hubs, please note that any additional connecting flights are not included in the Vestnorden registration and must be arranged separately.

The hotel rooms are based on single occupancy. If traveling with a family member or a friend not attending Vestnorden, a sub charge for the hotel room will apply.

You are welcome to bring family members, at your own cost, but they can not participate in the Vestnorden. Please do your own arrangements for flights and accommodation.

The hotel accommodation is for the period between 21 September to 24 September. Three nights in total.

All payments must be done by VISA or MasterCard. If you need to make a payment by bank transfer, please contact vestnorden@vestnorden.com.

Your credit card is charged after your registration is approved, when you complete the payment.

Buyers can only register one representative per company at this time.
