Registration Information
Welcome to Faroe Islands
Important information for Buyers regarding registration and preparation.
Registration fees for Buyers
Early bird fee: EUR 800 | DKK 6000
Late fee: EUR 1000 | DKK 7500
*Payment is settled in Danish kroner, so the price listed in Euros is only indicative.
Included in the Buyers fee:
- Participation in Vestnorden and B2B meetings
- Get-together event
- Farewell dinner
- Lunch, coffee, and refreshments during Vestnorden days (2)
- Participation at the country presentations
- Transport to/from event in Tórshavn, when necessary
- Transfer to/from Vágar airport to Tórshavn
- Accommodation for 3 nights in Tórshavn (23-26 September 2024)
- Flights to/from the Faroe Islands with only direct hub of Atlantic Airways incl. all taxes.
Who can register as a Buyer?
The term Buyers includes tour operators and travel agencies. The Buyers participate at a reduced price compared to the actual cost. The price difference is cross subsidised by the Suppliers.
It is mandatory for Buyers to have appointments and therefore the appointment lists cannot be blocked.

Registration deadline for early bird is 21 June 2024. After 21 June, the registration fee will increase.

Registration will close 23 August 2024.
Please note
The event may sell out prior to the registration deadline. There is limited capacity for Vestnorden 2024 and registration is based on first come first served basis.
B2B
The appointments system will open approximately 3 - 4 weeks before Vestnorden starts.
Payment
Payment is done upon registration through a secured payment site with credit card. Accepted credit cards are VISA and MasterCard.
Cancellation policy
- Free cancellation until 21 June
- Between 21 June and 23 August 50% of the total amount will be refunded.
- After 23 August – NO refund.
Cancellation can only be done by email to vestnorden@vestnorden.com.
Name change
A name change is free of charge until 23 August 2024. After that, the cost of a name change is EUR 100

Who can register as an OTA?
Online travel agency (OTA) is a web-based marketplace aimed at consumers to research and book travel products and services, including hotels, flights, cars, tours, cruises, activities and more, directly with travel suppliers.
Wholesaler
A wholesaler is a company that sources, buys or stores products and services from multiple suppliers and sells them to other businesses such as retailers, merchants or other wholesalers.
Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) and wholesalers cannot sign up for pre- and post-tours.

Return flights on Atlantic Airways are included in the buyer’s fee. You can choose among the following flight departures. You select your desired departures during the registration process.

Complimentary airport transfer to and from Vágar Airport is included in the buyer’s fee. Upon arrival, buses will be available to transport you to your accommodation in Tórshavn.

Three night’s accommodation is included in the Buyers fee. Buyers will be accommodated in one of the following hotels. It will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. You select your desired hotel during the registration process.

Hotel Brandan is a green four-star superior hotel. Located in the heart of Gundadalur only a few minutes’ walk from the Vestnorden venue, Tórshavn’s town square, main shopping center and the national football stadium and sports center. The hotel has 124 rooms and 4 meeting rooms, in addition to saunas, a fitness suite, hot tubs and 110 parking spaces.

We have compiled the answers to the most commonly asked questions regarding your trip to Iceland for Vestnorden.
You are welcome to come earlier or stay longer, but you will have to cover your own accommodation outside the dates of the event, and you will also have to book and pay for your flight tickets outside the fixed dates for Vestnorden.

Yes, you need to arrange the extra accommodation yourself. There is only a three-night accommodation included in the Buyers fee.
You can book flights from 13-22 October 2023.
Unfortunately, connecting flights are not covered by your Vestnorden registration.
The hotel rooms are based on single occupancy. If traveling with a family member or a friend not attending Vestnorden, a sub charge for the hotel room will apply.
You are welcome to bring family members, at your own cost. Please do your own arrangements for flights and accommodation.
The hotel accommodation is for the period between 16-19 of October 2023, three nights in total.
All payments must be done by credit or debit card. If you need to make a payment by bank transfer, please contact vestnorden2023@sena.is.
Credit cards are charged at the time of registration.

No there is no limitation but please note that everyone needs to pay the same fee.
