Thursday, September 24th, 2026
Arrival in Iceland
Guests arrive late in the evening in Iceland from Nuuk and settle into Reykjavík. The guests will stay at Hotel Marina at the Old harbour in Reykjavík.
Friday, September 25th, 2026
Reykjavík → Grindavík → Blue Lagoon → Reykjavík
Spend the first part of the day exploring the capital with a guide. We will seek out cozy cafés, take in the scenery, and go to the top of the Hallgrímskirkja church. A relaxed stroll through Reykjavík’s colorful streets, offers the perfect warm-up before heading out onto the Reykjanes Peninsula.
- 12.00 – Lunch at the Apótek Restaurant in the centre of Reykjavík.
- 14:15 – Departure from Hótel Marina to Grindavík Travel to the fishing town of Grindavík for a guided 4×4 adventure tour. Learn about the town, its people, and the surrounding lava landscapes. Enjoy light refreshments and coffee along the way.
- 15:30 – The Blue Lagoon Relax in the world-famous Blue Lagoon, surrounded by mineral-rich turquoise water and steam rising from black lava fields.
- 18:30 – Dinner at Northern Lights Inn A cozy dinner awaits at the Northern Lights Inn — a perfect place to unwind after the lagoon.
- 20:00 – Transfer back to Reykjavík A bus picks up the group and returns everyone to their accommodation for a calm Icelandic evening.

Golden Circle Day: Hot Springs, Waterfalls, Greenhouses & Lagoons
Have a taste of a hot spring menu while you witness steaming geysers and the powerful Gullfoss waterfall, meet friendly Icelandic horses, sip greenhouse-fresh drinks at Friðheimar, and end the day soaking in the warm serenity of Laugarás Lagoon with dinner under the evening glow.
- 09:00 – Departure from Reykjavík
- 9:45 – Reykjaböð Hot Springs A short stop at the beautiful Reykjaböð Hot Springs which open spring 2026 — with time to stretch, enjoy the scenery, and possibly grab a warm morning coffee.
- 10:30 – Drive to Geysir Geothermal Area Travel through farmlands and valleys toward one of Iceland’s most iconic geothermal wonders.
- 11:30 – Visit the Geysir geothermal area Start off with the Hot Spring Taste – A unique tasting experience inspired by geothermal cooking, enjoyed right beside the bubbling hot springs of Geysir. After that take some time to watch Strokkur erupt every few minutes, sending boiling water high into the air — an unforgettable natural spectacle.
- 12:30 – Lunch at Hotel Geysir Enjoy a relaxing lunch surrounded by geothermal beauty.
- 13:30 – Depart for Gullfoss Waterfall With a special stop on the way to greet the Icelandic horses — a fun moment for photos and meeting these gentle, friendly animals.
- 13:45 – Gullfoss Waterfall Explore the mighty Gullfoss, one of Iceland’s most breathtaking waterfalls. The power and mist of the two-tiered cascade make this a highlight of the Golden Circle.
- 14:45 – Drive to Friðheimar Continue to Iceland’s famous tomato greenhouse.
- 15:15 – Refreshments at Friðheimar
Enjoy drinks and a guided tour inside the warm greenhouse surrounded by tomato vines — a unique Icelandic experience. - 15:45 – Drive to Laugarás Lagoon A short scenic drive to your next geothermal oasis.
- 16:00 – Laugarás Lagoon Unwind in the beautiful lagoon, nestled in a quiet countryside setting, with natural warm water and views over the surrounding nature.
- 18:30 – Dinner at Restaurant Ylja Restaurant Ylja offers fresh, locally inspired dishes served in a serene setting overlooking Laugarás Lagoon — the perfect blend of Icelandic nature and comforting cuisine.
- 20:00 – Return to Reykjavík Drive back to the hotel in Reykjavík where the evening is free to rest or stroll the city.

Farewell Iceland! Guests depart with unforgettable memories of hot springs, waterfalls, volcanic landscapes, and warm Icelandic hospitality.
