Icefjord & Qoornoq with Greenland Cruises
About Qoornoq: Our first destination is the old settlement of Qoornoq, affectionately known as “Bear Island.” Though the name suggests something wild, it actually comes from the island’s bear-like shape when seen from above. Once a lively fishing community, Qoornoq now stands peacefully abandoned, its weathered houses whispering stories of the past. Today, locals from Nuuk return here in summer, keeping its spirit alive among the ruins and colorful cabins. You’ll have time to step ashore, wander through the remains, and feel the quiet magic of this place.

About Icefjord:Sailing trip in the fiords of Nuuk – the second largest fiord system in the World
If the weather is clear, don’t miss the chance to explore the fjords by boat. Nuuk is surrounded by one of the largest fjord systems in the world—an ideal setting for unforgettable sailing trips. As you move deeper into the fjords, the city quickly disappears behind you, replaced by towering mountains and their reflections shimmering on the water.

Arrival to Nuuk and transfer to the hotel
