Tour description and schedule

Day 1 (25.09) – Arrival, Gásadalur & Klaksvík
We arrive at Vágar Airport at 13:40, where we will meet and greet each other before starting our journey. Our tour begins with a short drive to Gásadalur, where we will walk out to the beautiful Múlafossur Waterfall and explore the surrounding cliffs. On the way, we will make a short stop in Bøur to enjoy the views of Tindhólmur and Drangarnir.

After our walk in Gásadalur, we will have lunch at a local farmers’ café and gain a deeper insight into village life and Faroese farming traditions. Later, we continue towards Klaksvík, where you will check in at the brand-new KG Hotel and have some time to relax and refresh.

In the evening, we will take a short walk around Klaksvík before enjoying a special welcome dinner at the historic Nólsoyarpállstova.

Day 2 (26.09) – Hiking & Tórshavn
After breakfast, we check out of KG Hotel and begin the day with a hike up Klakkur Mountain. This is an easy and enjoyable hike, taking about 1.5 hours in total. At the top, we will be rewarded with stunning views over Klaksvík and the northern islands of Kalsoy and Kunoy.

After the hike, we drive towards the capital, Tórshavn, through the Eysturoyartunnilin subsea tunnel, famous for its artistic roundabout. Upon arrival in Tórshavn, we will check in at the Hilton Garden Inn, where you will stay overnight. Lunch will be served at the hotel followed by a short break.

In the afternoon, we will walk from Hilton to the National Art Museum for a guided round trip. Afterwards, we continue through the plantation area of Tórshavn and into the city center, where we will explore the parliament area of Tinganes and the old town of Reyn. Dinner will be served at a local restaurant in town, and after dinner a transfer will take us back to the Hilton.

Day 3 (27.09) – Kirkjubøur, Spa & Departure
After breakfast, we check out of Hilton and take a short drive to the Valley of Tórshavn, where our hike to Kirkjubøur begins. This is an easy walk of around two hours, offering beautiful scenic views along the way. During the hike, we will enjoy a packed lunch with a view.

Once we arrive in the historic village of Kirkjubøur, we will visit the church, the old cathedral ruins, and the local farmers home, which is one of the oldest wooden houses in the world that is still inhabited today.

After exploring Kirkjubøur, we drive to Ress Spa in Tórshavn, where we will spend 2–3 hours relaxing in the new and luxurious spa area. There is no need to bring swimwear, as it will be provided on site. After enjoying the pools and saunas, a transfer to the airport will be arranged via the mountain road, giving us one last scenic experience of the Faroe Islands.

Our flight to Copenhagen departs from Vágar Airport at 18:20, with arrival in Copenhagen at approximately 21:25.
