Tour description and schedule

Sandavágur: The tour begins in Sandavágur, where the first stop is the charming café Fiskastykkið and its associated event venues Úti Á Gjógv. This building once served as a fish warehouse with a fish drying area outside and has now been restored in the same spirit.
After enjoying the atmosphere at Fiskastykkið, the tour continues to the iconic church in Sandavágur, a landmark with great significance to the local community.

Miðvágur: In Miðvágur, you will visit the old parsonage widow’s house, Kálvalíð, which is the only remaining parsonage widow’s house in the Faroe Islands, making it an important part of Faroese history. From Kálvalíð, the tour continues to the restored Gamla Hotel, which captures the elegant charm of the 1950s.

Slave’s Cliff and Hotel Vágar: Although you won’t hike to Trælanípa (Slave’s Cliff), this stop provides insight into how this exciting hiking route is managed.
The tour concludes with a visit to the newly renovated Hotel Vágar, where you can see the modern facilities.
