Tour description and schedule
Your 2-day tour around Austurland, East Iceland, begins at Reykjavík Domestic Airport. The flight takes off at 08:55, check-in for flight starts 45 min prior to departure. Arriving at Egilsstaðir Domestic Airport, a representative of the 2-day tour will be welcoming you.

We will drive around the remote fjords of Austurland, if the weather allows arriving in Mjóifjörður fjord, and enjoying a nice early lunch-pick nick. Our next stop is Seyðisfjörður Fjord, famous for its rainbow street and Gufufoss Waterfall in Seyðisfjörður. The next stop is Borgarfjörður eystri, famous for the puffin colony as well as the home of the elves. Upon arrival at Borgarfjörður, we will check in at Blábjörg Resort, and enjoy ourselves some warm hot tubs and sauna at Musterið Spa & Wellness. After a relaxing visit to the spa, there will be dinner at Frystiklefinn Restaurant, the catch of the day, and some small bites to cherish your sweet tooth! After dinner, you will enjoy an introduction to KHB Brewery!
Day 2 - highlights
After breakfast will depart Blábjörg and Borgarfjörður eystri to continue our exploration of this area. We will drive a beautiful countryside road and head to Stuðlagil Glacier Canyon (about 1 hr walk). Next, we will enjoy a light lunch at Hótel Stuðlagil. Continuing onwards, we will be stopping at Rjúkandi Waterfall and visiting the Reindeer Garden. After visiting the reindeer, you will be transported to Vök Baths, enjoying light refreshments before diving into the warm nature baths in Vök. After a relaxing soak in the baths, you will be transported to the Domestic Airport for your evening flight back to Reykjavík, departing at 19:30. Check-in at the airport starts 45 minutes prior to the flight departure.

For those interested, there is an option to book at Musterið Spa for different baths, such as a beer bath, for extra cost.
